Chicken Chat
Chicken math is real. You get a few chickens and then suddenly you have to have a few more. Chickens were our first farm animal and are often referred to as the gateway animal to farming. I love collecting chickens of all different breeds and egg colors. With this many chickens come many eggs. We enjoy hand raising our chicks. They each have names and love to be spoiled. I grow deep leafy greens in my garden for the hens to enjoy and supplement their organic laying feed with seeds and bugs. The hens enjoy daily roaming time and an occasional dust bath in their predator safe run. Their nest boxes receive relaxing herbs and fresh straw bedding for added comfort when laying these yummy eggs. The hens never receive antibiotics, hormones or stimulants. These eggs have never been washed and can stay fresh on your counter for two weeks. Eggs are available seasonly to customers in the San Diego area.
Eggs are $10.00 a dozen - Call or text 619.851.8070 for a local delivery or meet up.
